Based on some of the comments that you made, I think you do have something like this, but maybe don't realize it comes from RealTek. click on "Services and Application" in left hand list. A little Google searching, and I finally found the right drivers for my system. It does without any problem and says it's working properly, so I'm a bit muddled now about downloading again. weblink

You could try *gently* moving the jack with the plug while some audio is playing. A CCM membership gives you access to additional options. The Windows Audio service is running. You never know what the next Software patch might do to your PC.
