I went into managing locations for libraries and cannot figure out how to turn off "subfolders" in the Documents folder. But after it's done you can edit which drives and folders it should search. Put all your digital pictures in your Pictures folder, for example, and that’s where most photo applications will prompt you to open and save your files. Will we be forced to adapt..???

This company cant seem to make things better for their users. Also, other system files like the paging file, system restore files, and hibernation files are all stored on the system partition. I can understand why you might be concerned, but I'm not convinced these are big issues to most users.

After adding a workstation to a domain, I used the Windows Easy Transfer wizard to transfer the data from the local user account to the domain user account, then used Group But then I may get tired of working on that project, and I decide to work on a different project also requiring multiple documents and browser windows open. So it might be nice to bring selected items together from these files for a project. You can even include folders in network locations in a library, but you first have to make it available offline.

Who cares. The first time you open it you’ll be prompted to include a folder. Deleting a Library doesn’t actually delete the folders that it aggregates. etc.
