Since it doesn't recognize the mouse nor keyboard, I can't boot into safe mode!! If the usb controller devices won't uninstall, try the rollback option instead. In the meantime, it's back to trusty Windows 7. With some problems (which I am always able to fix).

I have to wait 5 to 10 minutes after startup for the keyboard and mouse to respond. Thanks again!!! This is hardly a permanent solution since it doesn't stop the update from being reinstalled as soon as you're back online. Everything works fine in the BIOS, but as so as that loading screen for Windows 7 comes up, the lights on the keyboard go off, and I cant use... This has been the case for 24 hours now.
