It was working fine until I had to restart the computer a day or so ago, and after the restart the problem appeared. IE just gives the message "can't display page" and Outlook tries then says error. Don't know. . . . but IE 8 can't seem to connect to anything. I tried resetting all the settings in IE and turning most of McAfee off but nothing worked until I reset winsock. I did everything for hours here without any success and I am back again online .. I also have ie and recently chrome, both when I start the programs cannot even load their home pages, and give a cannot reach or cannot find the address error.
