Please try the request again. The solution that finally fixed every instance we were seeing of this on both Vista & 7 was to take the drive out and put in a hard drive dock. Hopefully this will get you into your computer. Sometimes.

I couldn't get anything else to come up, no task mgr, control panel , nothing but the #$%^& cursor.
