I'm not a gamer, I just do alot of testing app's and encoding AVI's .. In a year or two, you'll need at least 4GB of RAM just to use it, and the 32-bit versions leave you stuck. The closest I have seen is a licence key on the back of a Ultimate DVD I got from an event that states "licence key for 32 and 64 bit" (or 32 Or 64 Bit Windows 7 If I buy a retail upgrade version, what's in the box?

Could you please elaborate about the difference between a regular upgrade from Microsoft and an upgrade from an university (beside having the student edition)? It takes at least 2GB of RAM to make it run well currently, and only supports a maximum of around 3.5GB. The 32bit OS has some very small benifits for emterprise, such as being slightly more compatable with much older software, and taking half the space in memory, but the 64bit OS
